Save the Kiwi
Proudly 100% locally owned and operated, we don’t just love showing off the spectacular beauty of Aotearoa—we’re deeply committed to protecting it, too. 🌲✨
For us, looking after our backyard means standing up for our native wildlife. We are passionately dedicated to doing everything we can to safeguard our iconic kiwi, the true kaitiaki (guardians) of our forest floors. 🥝🦅
When you travel with Elite Adventures, you’re supporting an operation that believes in giving back to the land. Together, we can ensure the unique, wild heartbeat of our native bush thrives for generations to come. 💚

Conservation Credits
At Elite Adventures, we believe in putting our money where our mouth is when it comes to protecting our local environment. That is why we have officially invested in two regional Conservation Credits—a transparent, direct-funding initiative backed by Qualmark that ensures 100% of our contribution goes straight to the frontline of local biodiversity projects.
Through this program, we are proud to sponsor:
-
Wingspan National Bird of Prey Centre: Supporting the vital captive breeding, research, and rehabilitation of Aotearoa’s threatened birds of prey, like the majestic kārearea (New Zealand falcon).
-
The Manawahe Biodiversity Bank Project: Funding intensive predator control and habitat restoration to give our native bush and forest-dwelling species a safe place to thrive.
We don’t just love showcasing the stunning beauty of our region—we are dedicated to actively investing in its future. By securing these credits, we are thrilled to join an exclusive collective of local businesses working together to keep our wild spaces thriving for generations to come.
Frontline Pest Control at Waimangu
To give our native forest birds a fighting chance against introduced predators, Elite Adventures actively funds hands-on pest management. We supply NZ-made automated, humane Good Nature rat and possum traps directly to the Waimangu team to support their intensive predator-control network, helping to keep our native bush a safe haven for local wildlife.
